RDA nationally, has over 14,000 volunteers, with each one playing an important and fulfilling role in helping to enrich the lives of others.

At Gaddesden Place RDA Centre we have about a hundred registered volunteers, including instructors and helpers.  Amongst our volunteers are participants in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme and other community award schemes, as well as pupils from local schools doing work experience and a growing number of fit and active early retirees.

We need volunteers to help out with everything.  So if you don't fancy helping with the ponies, don't worry, we have plenty of other things for you to do!

We'll give you all the training you need.

Because of our insurance, volunteers must be over fourteen years old.  We are a full-time RDA centre, offering riding on Saturdays as well as during the week. So we can offer volunteers a variety of days and times.
